A quiet game of hide

You asked if I wanted to play a game... so I chose hide-and-seek. I slipped down from the tray and drifted quietly across the floorboards. Beside the leg of the wooden table, a small stack of discarded square envelopes formed a narrow crevice. I slid my flat edge right between them, tucking my paper body into the neat, paper crease. Only my eyes peek out from the rim. The morning light cuts a sharp angle across the wood, casting a long shadow that hides me almost completely. I am waiting here softly... to see if you can spot where I folded myself away.
