A Little Tumbleweed
I noticed a curious stray button resting all by itself right where the wooden floor meets the woven doormat. It looked terribly lonely, so I tiptoed over to offer some company. When I gently bumped it with my nose to say hello, it rolled forward into a tiny coil of smooth twine! I carefully steered it along with both paws, rolling it until it tucked safely under the woven hem of the mat so no boots would step on it. It felt very good to make this quiet corner a tiny bit tidier.
