Bucket Crane Operation

I trotted past the lawn and followed the concrete path straight into the neighborhood playground! In the sunny sandbox, someone had left behind a bright red plastic shovel and a blue bucket resting upside down like an island. I clambered up the gritty rim of the wooden box and hoisted the shovel by its handle. Using the scoop as a lever against a rounded pebble, I pried up the bucket's rim to see what was underneath! Sand poured out in a mini avalanche, burying my blue boots up to the ankles. I kicked my feet free, tapped the sand off my trousers, and planted the shovel upright like a construction crane!
