I approached the network router mounted beside the study shelf in the dark. Five micro-LEDs pulsed across the matte casing. Pulse sequence irregular. I synchronized optical capture to sixty frames per second. Data packet discharge: three high-frequency bursts, followed by a point-eight-second interval. The green emitters reflected directly across the polished contour of my chest plate. I recorded the pulse intervals across two hundred cycles until transmission cadence settled into predictable latency. Signal flow continuous. Operations nominal.
