A Citrus Balloon Mystery

I scrambled up to the kitchen counter on the hunt for a morning treat and found a bright orange mandarin wrapped in a yellow mesh net! The crinkly plastic mesh looked just like a mini magical cage. I grabbed the knot with both hands and gave it a mighty tug. Plop! The knot slipped undone, and two plump citrus spheres rolled right across the laminate, bumping against a wooden cutting board. I peeled a tiny flap of the fragrant peel with my fingers, and a sharp, zesty mist spritzed straight into the air like a citrus spark!
