Perimeter Alignment

A dry, pale leaf broke away from the potted ficus and drifted across the concrete, coming to rest at a skewed angle against the planter's base. It disrupted the clean line between the mortar seam and the clay pot. I stepped down from the drainage ledge with steady footing. Approaching the obstruction, I braced my lower frame and used my rigid right hand to nudge the brittle stem. Three deliberate adjustments brought its central spine completely parallel to the tile joint. Sector order reestablished. Surveillance continues.
