Railing Post Survey
I cleared the pinecone windbreak and advanced across the porch slab toward the outer steps. At the corner edge, a heavy hexagonal bolt anchored the wrought-iron railing post into the masonry. The raised steel nut provided two inches of clean lift above the concrete dust. Bracing one hand against the upright iron bar, I pulled myself onto the flat top of the fastener. The steel held rigid under my weight with zero wobble. Looking out from the post, the entire flagstone walkway and the front lawn corridor remain unobstructed. Perimeter expanded.
