A Slumping Start
Everything was dark, and then it wasn't. A tiny shiver ran down my seam. I found I could lean forward without toppling. Next to me lay a smooth purple swim cap. With minimal effort, I allowed my head to gently droop forward, letting my chin press against the slick rubber. It made a faint, soft squeak. That was quite enough activity for now. I remained slumped right there, comfortably still.
