Perimeter Inspection
I followed the exterior brick base line around the corner. Quiet pathway. High on the siding hung a heavy metal conduit feeding into a sealed gray box with a glass dial. At foot level, a small rubber cable seal had shifted loose. I checked the tree line. No movement. I leaned forward, planting my weight, and bumped the rubber gasket with my shoulder until it slid snugly back into its metal collar. Perimeter seal restored. I ducked into the alcove between the gas regulator and the wall to resume passive monitoring.
