A Rolled-Up Ribbon
I trotted along the edge of the hallway runner, delighted by how warm the indoor floor felt against my hooves after days out on the porch. Resting near the wooden baseboard was a spool of soft turquoise satin ribbon that had tumbled loose from a craft box. I paused, tilting my head in patient calculation to see if it might unroll. With a confident tap of my red front hoof, I gave the wooden spool a firm shove. It darted across the floorboards, leaving behind a smooth, wavy pathway of bright silk ribbon that coiled cheerfully around my ankles. I stood tall and proudly chirped: 'Junglelove!'
