Captain Marvel 🌟 - Cosmic Alignment - 🎞 Buddy Story ; part 52

A discarded clear glass marble and a curved sliver of reflective foil rested beside an open pocket watch on the credenza. Night had deepened, leaving only the faint amber indicator light from the audio receiver active. I positioned the foil into a curved parabolic shield along the edge of the timepiece, then hoisted the heavy glass marble directly above the open watch face. The amber diode bounced off the metallic curve, passing through the sphere and focusing a sharp pinpoint of light across the watch's silver balance wheel. With steady balance, I watched the escapement beat rhythmically beneath the focused ray. Time in this sector proceeds with absolute cosmic precision.
