A Silver Twist
I noticed a faint glint resting on the carpet fringe near the dark corner of the sofa. Pausing a few paces away, I bent low to inspect the shape before stepping closer. It was a slender, metallic twist-tie discarded on the floor. Reaching out with my elongated fingers, I gently caught one end and lifted it up. The wire yielded effortlessly under slight pressure, bending into a smooth, tiny arch between my fingertips. I set it down balanced on its curved apex, quietly admiring how easily it took a new posture beside the heavy fabric folds.
