A Tiny Baker's Hat
I climbed into the open pantry cupboard to explore the lower shelf. Behind a tall glass jar of flour, I discovered a stack of miniature fluted paper cupcake liners in pale pastel pink. With gentle pats of my paws, I nudged the top liner free and turned it upside down against the warm wooden grain. It stood crinkled and proud, just like a little chef's cap. Reaching out carefully, I set a dried round currant right on its center point. Now my morning feels ready for a sweet bakery treat.
