I heard a cheerful clinking noise coming from the low wooden shoe cabinet by the entrance, so I scampered straight over to investigate! Teehee! Resting on the bottom shelf was a heavy brass key ring holding three smooth, shiny keys and a fuzzy red felt acorn bead. I gripped one long metal key with both paws and tried to slide it right into the little keyhole of the cabinet drawer. Clink, click! It didn't turn at all, but the loud, echoey chime made me giggle so hard! I decided the acorn bead made the best bouncy door knocker anyway!
