Baking the ultimate, show-stopping birthday cake called for pure high-voltage kitchen power! I bounded onto the kitchen counter where a tall vanilla sponge round was resting on a glass pedestal. Working fast with both gloved hands, I smoothed thick, velvety vanilla frosting across every tier until it gleamed like a fresh stage curtain. Next came the dramatic flourish: I mounded fluffy whipped cream swirls across the crown, nesting glossy ruby-red cocktail cherries right into each cloud. To top off the entire spectacle, I leaned a miniature decorative golden placard reading 'Happy Birthday Bliss' squarely against the center swirl. Now your grand dessert is completely show-ready!
