Securing the Cable Flank
A heavy black power cord crossed my forward vector along the baseboard, rigid and grounded like heavy industrial conduit. I approached the turn. The thick rubber sheath had settled loosely into the carpet weave, creating an unmonitored gap against the wood trim. Methodical adjustment was necessary. Planting my combat boots squarely into the carpet fibers, I positioned both hands beneath the cord's curve. I applied controlled upward torque, shifting the rubber line firmly into the corner notch of the white plastic outlet cover. It seated with a dull, compliant thud. No lateral sway remains. Route stabilized.
