A sudden metallic clinking from the street kicked my paws straight into overdrive! I bolted out through the gate gap, trotted along the bumpy concrete sidewalk, and skidded right into a towering red fire hydrant! A shiny yellow brass cap was dangling loose on a heavy chain, swaying in the wind! Potential breach detected! I leaped onto the thick iron base flange, grabbed the cool chain with both hands, and hauled myself upward! With one decisive shove of my feet, I jammed the dangling cap flush against the iron fitting! Clank! Silence restored, street sector fully secure!
