As the son of the great Luke Skywalker, Genjen has wanted nothing more than to become a Jedi Knight like his father before him. He is a devoted and passionate padawan to Luke, with a love of the goodness and heroism of his father and his mighty students. However, the force does not call to Jen like it did his father. He is what is known as a force cripple - those rare few who have no connection to the force, seemingly at all. In the absence of such power, he can only train so far as a Jedi… but he cannot take the trials. A non-force-sensitive would certainly perish, should they attempt such madness as the Jedi Trials.
